Job Summary
Drive the technical architecture, deployment, and optimization of advanced cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) for enterprise analytics, AI/ML workloads, and mission-critical systems. Champion best practices in automation, security, and performance across complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable cloud-native solutions using microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS/EKS/GKE), serverless (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda), and event-driven patterns.
- Design robust virtual network architectures, including VNET peering, private endpoints, VPN/ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, NSGs, firewalls, and application gateways.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure and application deployment (using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
- Integrate and secure Identity & Access Management (Azure AD, IAM, SSO, RBAC, Key Vault/Secrets Manager).
- Develop policies and guardrails for cloud cost management, tagging, and resource governance (Azure Policy, AWS Config).
- Lead cloud migration and modernization projects—assess existing infra, design migration blueprints, and execute workload lift-and-shift/refactor strategies.
- Automate monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
- Design resilient backup, disaster recovery, and geo-redundancy solutions using native cloud services.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems, network, security, and performance issues at scale.
- Document architectural decisions, create HLD/LLD artifacts, and provide technical mentorship to DevOps, platform, and engineering teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related.
- Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS/GCP equivalent.
- Hands-on expertise in architecting multi-cloud/hybrid cloud solutions.
- Proven experience with networking, security, identity, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery in cloud.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
