Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring system reliability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD automation, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. You’ll play a key role in streamlining development workflows, optimizing cloud costs, and supporting smooth, secure deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, uptime, and cost efficiency across environments.
- Enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and access controls throughout the cloud ecosystem.
- Automate operational workflows to enhance reliability and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to support deployment processes and resolve environment-related issues.
- Maintain clear infrastructure documentation and contribute to incident response and root cause analysis efforts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cost optimization in the cloud.
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to have)
- Experience with multi-cloud environments.
- Background in compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Exposure to serverless computing and microservices architectures.
