Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data-driven projects. The role demands strong leadership, organizational ability, and experience managing cross-functional teams in both Agile and Waterfall environments. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding with effective stakeholder communication to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of data analytics and engineering projects within defined timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
- Oversee project scoping, planning, scheduling, and resource allocation while maintaining alignment with business priorities.
- Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage workflows, sprints, and releases, adapting as required.
- Drive project planning, risk mitigation, budgeting, and stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and accountability across teams.
- Use Azure Boards or equivalent tools to track progress, manage tasks, and maintain visibility across all execution phases.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into actionable deliverables.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and take corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct project reviews and ensure documentation and reporting consistency across all initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of proven experience in project management, preferably within data analytics or technology environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in project tracking and collaboration tools such as Azure Boards or Jira.
- Experience in project planning, financial tracking, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Working knowledge of data analytics, data pipelines, and BI workflows.
- Certifications such as PMP, Agile, or PRINCE2 will be an advantage.
Preferred Skills (Good to have)
- Familiarity with Azure Data Services, Databricks, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience in resource forecasting and performance tracking.
- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and cloud-based delivery models.
